Polyester Denim Textile is the firm end of this range: 98% polyester with only 2% spandex, so it behaves less like a stretch knit and more like a stable cloth. At 230g/m² there's enough body to hold a silhouette, and because the shape comes from the construction rather than from elastane, nothing creeps or relaxes over a long shift. Both faces are usable, which takes the wrong-side problem out of the pattern room and opens the door to reversible jackets, unlined coats, and anything where the inside will be seen. The surface is finished double-sided and non-wash, so no laundering step sits between us and your sewing floor. It keeps its colour and wipes clean easily, which is what makes it practical for garments that get worn hard and cleaned often.
1/ Almost pure polyester. At 98% it holds its colour, resists scuffing and is easy to keep clean.
2/ Firm rather than springy. Only 2% spandex, so the shape comes from the construction and stays put through the day.

Polyester Denim Textile processing recommendations:
- Plan the seams for a cloth with two faces. On reversible and unlined builds the inside is on show, so seam type and finish have to read correctly from either side.
- Don't look for ease from the fabric. With only 2% spandex there's very little give, so the pattern and the feed have to provide it.
- Stop the plies sliding. A smooth, low-give cloth shifts in a tall lay; grippers or a shallower spread keep the panels square.
- Tread carefully with fusibles. Test the interlining on a scrap first: a slick polyester face shows a weak bond or a strike-through straight away.
- Watch the banded selvedge. Trim it clear of the marker rather than letting it end up stitched into a panel.
