Products Description
Twill Polyester Denim advantage:
A denim trouser seldom reads as tailored, and the giveaway is rarely the colour; it's the shape. Denim much below 300g/m² has to be handled as a soft cloth: the waistband rolls, the front hangs slack, and the leg loses its line by mid-afternoon. Twill Polyester Denim sits on the other side of that line. The fibre recipe follows its lighter sibling, 95% polyester with 5% spandex, but the extra weight changes the proposition: at 300g/m² there is enough body to cut and press it like a tailored material, so a crease stays in the leg, a jacket front holds its edge without heavy interlining, and a fly behaves the way a fly should. That is what the tailored-denim direction asks for, and why denim suiting and full-look denim are built on weights like this rather than on a mid-weight jean cloth. The New Sunshine Non-wash finish means the piece arrives already faded, with no washing house in the schedule.
1/ A tailoring weight. It holds a pressed crease and a defined waistband unaided, so the block can stay clean.
2/ Denim suiting. Jacket fronts, lapels and waistcoats hang off this weight instead of collapsing.
3/ Planned for the block, not the meterage. 155cm suits compact tailored panels and clean markers.
4/ The finish is already in the cloth. Non-wash means the faded look needs no laundry stage.

processing recommendations
Twill Polyester Denim processing recommendations:
- Set the crease deliberately. A 300g/m² polyester blend keeps a press, so decide where it should sit before the block is finalised.
- Stagger the bulk. In the fly, waistband and pocket facings, trim and grade the seam allowances so the detail doesn't read as a lump.
- Lay the marker for panels. At 155cm the economy comes from cutting tailored blocks and small parts, not from long panels.
- Test any fusing. There is already body in this cloth, and a heavy interlining will make it boardy, so try the lightest option first.
- Choose the hem finish on an offcut. A double turn at this weight is visible; a faced or taped finish usually sits better.

Why Partner with Us?
Choosing between the weights in a family like this is really a question of silhouette: one weight for the pieces that should move, another for the pieces that should hold. Most ranges end up using two of them, one in each role, which is easier to plan when both come from the same fibre recipe and the same finish, because the shades then match across the range and the samples can be booked together. We make knit denim and nothing else; send the block and the season, and we'll say which weight carries which piece.
