Heavy Duty Polyester Denim advantage:
Workwear and riding denim keep coming back because the clothes look like they can take something, and that look has always been easier to design than to wear. A rigid heavy denim reads tough but breaks in slowly and restricts movement; a light stretch denim moves with the body but looks soft from the start. Heavy Duty Polyester Denim is built to close that gap. At 300g/m² it has the substance the utility silhouette needs, and the big twill puts more yarn on the face where abrasion happens, so knees, seats, elbows and cuffs are protected by structure, not a coating. The 9% spandex is high for this weight: a fitted biker panel or a close-cut trouser can be cut to the body and still let you swing a leg or reach across. Non-wash: no laundry stage.

Heavy Duty Polyester Denim processing recommendations:
- Let the roll relax before cutting. A 9% spandex quality loses width once opened, so cut after it rests, not straight off the roll.
- Build the stretch into the block, not the seam. Take the ease out at pattern stage; 9% will pull a panel out of shape if cut too close.
- Reinforce the load points in the same quality. Double knees, elbow patches and a seat panel sit in this cloth, which has the weight to make them read.
- Test the stitch on a curved seam. A flat offcut behaves nothing like a stretch cloth going round a knee or an armhole.
- Press at a moderate temperature and don't linger. A 300g polyester with this much spandex glazes easily, and the shine cannot be lifted.
