Indigo Twill Knitted Denim advantage:
At 320g/m², Indigo Twill Knitted Denim has a fine twill grain across the face that reads as denim, and a polyester looped reverse that gives the cloth structure instead of a soft, floppy back. The blend is 70% cotton, 25% polyester and 5% spandex, and that's where the balance comes from: enough cotton for a comfortable hand, polyester in the back for strength, and spandex for recovery. In the hand it's soft but still has body, so a garment keeps its line rather than collapsing. The reverse construction is also what makes it tough: it resists pulling at the seams and holds up where a lighter knit would give out. Indigo dyed for a vintage cast that suits the denim look it's built around.

- Keep the twill line running one way. Panels laid at different angles read as different shades under light, and a fine grain shows it sooner than a coarse one.
- Treat the loop side as the inside. Keep it off hooks, rough table edges and anything with a burr; a snagged loop on a cloth this weight is hard to hide.
- Relax the roll before cutting. With 5% spandex it will move, and a day on the table saves a re-cut later.
- Low heat on the press, and no direct plate contact. Heat flattens the loops and takes the recovery out of the spandex.
- Sample and wash before bulk. Check recovery, shrinkage, and how the loops settle after a wash.
