At 320g/m², Cotton twill denim is a heavyweight that behaves like proper denim while keeping the give of a knit. The blend splits the work three ways: 52% cotton for the hand, 40% polyester for strength and to hold the shape, 8% spandex for stretch that recovers. The indigo is what really sets it apart. The yarn holds a white core, so the color can be bleached back for effects and it fades gradually with washing, building the layered, worn-in look people want from denim. The surface also stays low on fuzz and the cloth takes real tension without giving way. At 150cm it's a narrower width, which suits the leg panels these garments are built from.

1. Indigo is the soul of this one. With a white core, the color bleaches back for effects and fades step by step with washing, so you get real depth instead of a flat shade.
2. Stretch that holds. The elasticity recovers and the fabric resists distortion, so garments don't bag out or lose their line.
3. Low fuzz, high tensile strength. Very little fiber sheds off the surface, and it takes pulling without tearing.

Cotton twill denim processing recommendations:

1. Get the pre-shrinking done before the cutting table, so measurements hold through washing.
2. If you're running washed or bleached effects, test the finish on a sample first. Indigo over a white core responds differently panel to panel.
3. Set the machine up for a mid-heavy knit: the right needle and thread, light foot pressure, and no dragging the panel through.
4. Keep pressing temperatures low, and never let the plate sit directly on the surface.
5. Sample and wash before bulk, including whatever finish you plan to run. That's the stage where problems are cheap to catch.
