Products Description

Brushed bull denim twill fabric advantage:

At 300g/m², Brushed bull denim twill fabric looks like a plain twill denim from the outside and behaves like a winter cloth on the inside. The reverse is finely brushed into a soft, lofty pile, so it feels warm against the skin instead of cold and raw, while the face keeps the twill grain and the denim character. With 42.5% cotton, 47% polyester and 10.5% spandex the cloth is soft and properly elastic, so it doesn't restrict movement, and it holds a crisp, clean line rather than creasing or losing its shape. On the body it reads slim and sharp. It's also built to last: the brush stays where it is rather than shedding, the shade survives washing without going pale, and the cloth keeps its shape through wear.

1/ Twill knit structure with real denim character. Soft, high-stretch and free to move in.

2/ A finely brushed inner face. Lofty and heat-retaining, soft against the skin, and nothing like the cold, scratchy hand you'd expect.

3/ Holds a crisp, clean drape. Resists creasing and distortion, and reads slim and sharp on the body.

4/ Built for hard wear. The brush stays put, the shade survives washing without going pale, and it's a cold-weather staple.

Market Direction

Look at what is selling in the bottoms market and three things are happening at once: stretch has stopped being a premium feature and become an expectation, comfort is being engineered into garments that still have to hold a shape, and nobody wants to pay for a cloth that needs a laundry to finish it. This blend answers all three from the fibre side. The 47% polyester carries the strength and the dimensional stability, the 42.5% cotton keeps the surface reading as denim rather than as a knit, and 10.5% spandex is enough to let a skinny leg or a legging move without bagging at the knee. At 300g/m² with a brushed back it also reaches the winter weight bracket that most knit denims avoid, which is usually where the holes in a range are. Adjacent opportunities: a 240g version of the same construction for spring, a plain-faced sibling for the same blocks, and a men's trouser weight if the drape holds.

processing recommendations

Brushed bull denim twill fabric processing recommendations:

  1. Keep the brushed side running the same way. Lay panels so the pile direction doesn't vary; mixed directions show as different shades in the folds and openings.
  2. Control the lint. Brushed cloth sheds at the cutting table and under the needle, so keep surfaces clean and clear the machine regularly.
  3. Relax the roll before cutting. At 10.5% spandex it will move, and the pile adds a little to that.
  4. Low heat on the press, and no direct plate contact. Heat and pressure flatten the brush and leave shine on the face.
  5. Sample and wash before bulk. The points to check are whether the brush stays put, whether the shade shifts, and whether the pile recovers.

Why Partner with Us?

Where this quality usually starts is a sample that is almost right. The brush is a little too deep, or the recovery on a 10.5% stretch sits a shade soft for the leg you have drawn, and the temptation is to accept it and move on. Our research and development team would rather adjust it: elasticity, stability and surface finish are all variables we can move, and a specification is not finished here until it reads the way the design intended. That conversation can happen before you commit to bulk, and it usually costs a few days rather than money. Tell us what bothers you about the sample, however small it sounds.
