At 330-340g/m², Premium Indigo Ribbed Denim is a heavy, cotton-rich rib built for the edges of a denim garment rather than for the body of one. With 97% cotton and 3% spandex it has the hand of real denim, softens with washing, and still recovers, so collars and cuffs keep their shape instead of going slack. The rib is dyed indigo to sit alongside knit or woven denim, and it fades at the same rate as the garment it's paired with, so trim and body end up the same shade after washing rather than the rib staying dark while the garment lightens. That's the point of the quality: a garment that still looks finished after the wash. The 110cm width suits narrow trim panels and keeps waste down on small parts.

- Keep the rib running true. On collars and cuffs the rib should stretch around the edge, so panels are laid with that direction in mind.
- Let the rib settle before cutting. At this weight and with this much cotton it will shrink and relax, and that needs handling first or sizes will drift.
- Wash the rib together with the main fabric before bulk. The whole point is that the two fade to the same shade, so confirm it in a real wash rather than on paper.
- Low heat on the press, and no direct plate contact. Heat flattens the rib and takes the recovery out with it.
- Check recovery after washing, not only before. Cuffs and collars are the first place a garment looks tired.
