At 250g/m², French terry denim stretch gives the look of woven denim in a knit that behaves like a sweatshirt. In the hand it's about three times softer than a traditional woven denim: soft against the skin rather than hard and boardy, which is what makes it wearable in the pieces it's meant for. The blend is 97% cotton with 3% spandex, and the stretch runs four ways, so it gives in every direction, no tightness across the seat or thighs, no distortion when it's pulled on, and no pressure marks after sitting for a long stretch. Sulfur dyed, for a deep, muted blue with a worn-in cast. And it delivers all of that at a friendlier price than an equivalent woven denim, which is the point of the quality: the woven look and knit comfort together.

Processing Recommendations
French terry denim stretch processing recommendations:
1/ Agree the shade on a washed sample. Sulfur dyes keep developing through washing, so the tone you confirm dry is not always the tone you ship.
2/ Relax the roll before cutting. There's only 3% spandex here, but a knit this soft still moves, and it distorts if it's stretched while being handled.
3/ Fit the machine to the cloth. A needle suited to knits, even tension, and don't pull the panels as they feed.
4/ Check rubbing fastness after washing. Sulfur shades are the ones that crock first, especially on dark ground.
5/ Sample and wash before bulk, in the wash programme you plan to run. Shrinkage and recovery are the numbers worth confirming first.
