The knit base has four-way stretch, so movement isn't restricted and the cloth sits light on the body instead of heavy and stiff, and with 5% spandex it recovers rather than stretching out. The brushing is fine and dense, which is what lets it hold warmth without bulk and feel soft against the skin rather than prickly. Indigo dyed, so the denim look is in the cloth rather than printed on. For late autumn into early winter it works two ways: worn on its own, or as a layer under something else.
